An over-inflated farm tyres cause soil compaction meaning that after a wet period you are causing the soil to form deep ruts. This can damage crops, and excessive water to lie in your fields. This makes work messier, more difficult and can effect your yield. Under inflated tyres can make your tractor difficult to handle and damage your tyre castings.

However Over-inflated tyres increases tyre spinning which can leave you and your machinery to get stuck in the mud. Excessive tractor wheel spin causes your tractor to dig into the ground and get stuck causing time, and fuel to be wasted. Getting out of a muddy patch also causes your machine unnecessary wear and tear. Over inflated tyres will cause bouncing and vibrations when driving.

Ensure that your tyres are inflated to the correct pressure and you will avoid these problems.
